We spent the first happy hour of #ROCKtreatPR in Old San Juan at Greengo's! What a fun atmosphere with amazing food and fun drinks...not to mention the outstanding servers! I highly recommend letting your server suggest their fave dishes! They will not disappoint! I personally suggest the Salty Señorita Margarita! Deeeelish! Our group were such big fans that out of only 4 days spent in OSJ, this was the place of choice to return to for the last meal and happy hour of our stay! Thank you Greengo's for taking such good care of us ladies!

I spent four nights in San Juan recently and my first night arriving to the island was spent at Greengos. I live on another island in the Caribbean and we don't have any Mexican food options, so I'm always craving it. Greengos did not disappoint! Their nachos were off the chain and I even went back on my last night on the island because I loved the food and ambiance so much! The second night I went, I got the chimichanga and it was massive. Their specialty margaritas and tequilas were amazing and I loved the wall decor. Service was excellent and our waiter was very engaging. I'll definitely be back if I visit San Juan again!
Adventures in Old San Juan-
We had a group of almost 30 people trying to find somewhere to eat just a matter of hours before our younger ones went nuclear- I called several places and walked several square blocks with a "forward scouting party" for approximately 3 months trying to find somewhere to accomodate all of us.
There was a pretty young lady standing in front of greengos inviting people in as we were walking back to a meeting point - never one to pass up on an opportunity- I yelled across the street asking could she accomodate 30 or so in 2 hours - she nodded her affirmation and told me they didn't take reservations but would do their best
I walked/crawled back over about an hour ( or exactly 4 Pina colodas later)... when I walked in I knew instantly this was my kind of place based solely on the feel, the decor, the friendly people , the 150 selections of tequila.... When she said " oh, I thought you said 13 not 30 " I figured Burger King was about to get really busy! But she got the manager over and he agreed to start pulling enough tables together for 30 people.
Walking back to our central meeting place (a.k.a. the $5.00 Pina coloda bar) I sent the last massive group text to the party effectively shutting telecommunications down in PR for 5 seconds to tell everyone where to meet and when.
We all arrived at 7:00 and true to their word a large section was awaiting our motley crew. The manager waited on us personally and was freaking amazing!! They absolutely busted their butts to get food and drinks out quickly.
Food was Excellent!!
Drinks were Excellent!!
Atmosphere was Excellent!!
Manager and staff were Excellent!!
Please, if you are looking somewhere to eat/ drink in Old San Juan don't hesitate to stop in..
Try the donkey punch drink ... just be careful - if you mess with the donkey to much it has a nasty kick the next morning...
